Program Manager, Pricing Execution Washington, DC metro area Ref#2018-1473   For a large, mortgage-focused financial services client we are seeking a Program Manager, Pricing Execution.  Within their Single Family division, the Program Manager will be part of Strategic Delivery, which is responsible for identifying, evaluating, designing, developing, and implementing new or enhanced offerings, concepts, and business or technology projects. The area engages business areas across the company including technology to identify solutions for new capabilities and resolve impacts related to the projects being implemented.  This will initially be a 6-month contract, with the prospect of conversion to a permanent role.

Web Service Developer Washington, DC metro area Ref#2018-1467   The Oakleaf Group is seeking a Web Service Developer with strong software engineering experience in Unix and databases, to support our client on a project (likely 6-month initial term), to work on a large multi-functional application used across the organization.   The Developer will implement and maintain a mission-critical web application.  The initial development environment is Microsoft Windows .NET framework with a SQL database and Unix script backend.  It will be migrated to an AWS environment.   The application development will be performed using C#, Java, JavaScript and other related programming languages, so either Unix script (preferred) or Perl or Python experience is required.  The developer will participate in all the steps in the software development life cycle to create and modify the software, following Agile methodologies.

Quant Python Developer Washington, DC metro area Ref#2018-1465   We are seeking a Quant Python Developer for a 9+ month project, to work with one of our large mortgage-focused financial services clients on hedge accounting optimization.  Within their Finance area, they are changing the way they do hedge accounting, and this developer will be part of a small team writing code for their hedge optimizer.  This part of the project involves all of the calculations up to the actual accounting, so they need someone who has some experience with bond math, yield curve discounting, and who is able to handle data in a variety of forms.

These datasets must be collected, validated, aggregated, transformed and then vended internally to support a variety of analytical purposes.  This position requires a wide spectrum of skill sets including complex data manipulation, quantitative analysis, and software development. The incumbent will refine the existing data warehouse in a Python, SQL database, and AWS environment as it evolves to support similar new business, incorporating reuse where practical.  The incumbent may also contribute to a long-term effort to share back-end analytical processes in a self-service user environment and may also develop and support analytical finance applications, according to ability and the evolving needs of the practice.
