    Junior Python Analyst

    McLean, VA

     

     

    We have an immediate position available for a Junior Python Analyst to support our client in the development of next generation innovative products, services and solutions.

    Responsibilities

    • Work with a small team of developers, testers and business analysts.
    • Support client’s Hedge Project with loan data extraction and management using Python tool:
      • Extract loans from specified Data Warehouse each business day at loan level.
      • Create cohorts by merging similar loans.
      • Merge cohorts and store in new database.
    • Run month end loan data extraction using Python.

    Qualifications

    • 3+ years data extraction, management and manipulation using Python
    • 2+ years mortgage, capital markets and/or trading environment experience.
    • Knowledge in quantitative financial analytics preferred.
    • Knowledge in data analysis / data mining preferred.
    • Assure quality, security, and compliance requirements are met for supported area.
    • Be flexible an thrive in an evolving environment.
    • Ability to adapt to change quickly and adjust work accordingly in a positive manner.
    • Agile experience.
