    Mortgage Analytics Developer, C++/Python, 1+ year contract

    Washington, DC metro area



    For a large, mortgage-focused financial services client we are seeking a Mortgage Analytics Developer with C++/Python, for a 1+ year contract.  The Developer will work within the development team that builds the core valuation models for loans and mortgage securities.


    • Build models for loans and mortgage securities, including core valuation models, prepayment and credit models and interest rate models.
    • Use C++ and Python to build valuation models for mortgages and structured mortgage transactions.
    • Communicate with stakeholders throughout the organization.


    • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field.
    • Looking for a developer, not a modeler
    • 5-7+ years working with mortgage models, including prepayment and credit models, interest rate models, and/or valuation models (mortgages and structured securities).
    • 5-7+ years of expert level C++
    • 3-5+ years of significant experience with Python
    • . Experience with valuing mortgages and/or mortgage backed securities. Ability to communicate well.
    • Strongly prefer experience with Intex for valuing structured products.
    • Must be a self-starter with strong communication skills
