    RMBS Intex Cash Flow Modeler, Capital Markets

    For a large mortgage-focused financial services client, we are seeking a RMBS Intex Cash Flow Modeler, Capital Markets with experience in cash flow modeling of securitized mortgage transactions, to work in their Investments & Capital Markets area.  This will initially be a 6-month contract, with the prospect of conversion to a permanent role.  The role will support the sale and securitization of NPL and RPL (non-performing and re-performing) loans.

    Responsibilities

    • Build cash flow models in Intex for new re-performing and non-performing RMBS transactions.
    • Work with transaction managers, portfolio managers, other deal structurers and traders on transactions involving mortgage securitizations.
    • Validate and back-test cash flow models to ensure accuracy and compliance.
    • Generate and evaluate alternative cash flow and valuation methods.
    • Analyze data from legal team and Offering Memoranda, transaction form agreements and bidder qualification documents.
    • Validate and tie out cash flow summary tables (DECs, yields, etc.) in offering documents.
    • Liaise with and support external counterparties (broker/dealers, investors and service providers.)
    • Work with internal and external stakeholders on securitization structures and disclosures.
    • Present structures to management and clients.

    Qualifications

    • Quantitative bachelor’s degree, advanced degree preferred.
    • 5-8+ years in capital markets, at least 5 years in RMBS cash flow modeling.
    • Skilled with Intex and other cash flow modeling tools; Intex DealMaker is a requirement and the use of IntexCalc is preferred.  Intex C Subroutines, Intex Wrapper API and Intexlink are not required
    • Prefer strong Word, Excel, Visio, and PowerPoint skills.
    • Accustomed to working in a fast-paced market environment.
    • Domain knowledge of the mortgage industry, securitization and structuring.
