    For a large financial services client, we are seeking a Web Developer, to work on a 1 year or longer project. The developer should also have strong software engineering experience in Unix scripting and databases, to work on the migration of a large-scale application used across the organization to AWS.


    Strong experience in Web service development.  Experience with either Unix script (preferred) or Python or a similar scripting language is required, as is experience working with databases.  The developer will participate in all the steps in the software development life cycle to create and modify the software, following Agile methodologies.


    • Develop, modify, or update code used by business units
    • Participate in the implementation of multiple web service applications


    • Bachelor’s degree in an IT-related field, Master degree is preferred.
    • 3+ years in web development for large-scale business critical systems / software applications in a Unix environment, using Unix script, Python or similar.
    • 3+ experience in developing web service application using various web development technologies such as C#, JavaScript, jQuery, ASP.NET, Entity Framework, Model-View-Controller, Angular, XML.
    • Desired: JAVA, database / SQL, C / C++; knowledge of AWS computing; experience building financial systems; experience in Agile environment.
