    Model Delivery Project Manager, 1+ year contract

    Washington, DC metro area




    For a large, mortgage-focused financial services client we are seeking a Model Delivery Project Manager for a 1+ year contract.  The analyst will work on implementing a new process to coordinate new model implementation across multiple business units/model users, and coordinate testing, sign off and implementation. 


    • Coordinate activity across multiple divisions for integrated model planning and delivery.
    • Manage scope, schedule, quality, risks and issues, impact on systems, and dependencies across divisions within the company, all as they pertain to model delivery.
    • Lead cooperative efforts with project team members representing multiple diverse groups and divisions – model owners and developers, business users, independent validators, and financial engineering.


    • Bachelor’s degree or higher; prefer Project Management Professional (PMP).
    • 3-7+ years of experience in model risk governance in financial services; prefer Big 4 experience
    • Demonstrated ability to report on project level plans to Technical and Business partners. Strong facilitation skills and process-driven analytical skills.
    • Demonstrated experience with Microsoft Office and Web tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, SharePoint)
    • Self‐directed, with the capability of managing multiple priorities and efficient in proposing solutions
    • General knowledge of secondary mortgage industry.
    • Collaborative, professional team player with excellent interpersonal skills.
    • Strong verbal and written skills, including the ability to develop and deliver plans, presentations and other materials to various types of audiences.
