For a large financial services client, we are seeking a SAS Developer, to work on a 1 year or longer project to re-platform data and processes from a legacy platform to a SAS platform.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with the re-platforming of a Hyperion to a SAS backend processor to be used in the calculation of earnings at risk.
  • Analyze and aggregate mortgage projection data.
  • Design reports that are more timely, efficient and accurate.
  • Develop in a LINUX / SAS Grid environment, within an Agile/Scrum framework.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field.
  • 3-5+ years of SAS development and reporting experience within a LINUX / SAS Grid environment.
  • Experience analyzing and aggregating data.
  • SDLC/Waterfall experience.
  • UNIX/LINUX scripting experience (at least basic knowledge).
  • Oracle experience with advanced SQL skills.
  • Preferred: Financial services experience, Hadoop or Netezza, SAS certification.
