For a large financial services client, we are seeking a Tableau Developer, to work on a 1 year or longer project to re-platform a major system.   

Responsibilities

  • Create customized and interactive dashboards using multiple data sources.
  • Take broad requirements and transfer quickly into developed prototypes and working solutions.
  • Develop detailed data mapping and end-to-end process flows.
  • Execute developed code and various test scenarios.
  • Conduct transition and knowledge transfer sessions with various technical partners.
  • Develop and execute Hadoop/ETL/SAS/Tableau code modules for various pilot scenarios.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field.
  • 3+ years with Tableau desktop and as a server developer creating data visualization dashboards and reports for large datasets (Tableau Report Performance Optimization).
  • Must be experienced using Oracle databases and SAS datasets;  and nice to have experience with Netezza or Hive.
  • Experience creating rapid prototyping solutions.
  • Outstanding analytical and problem-solving skills, capable of learning new technologies quickly.
  • Experience working in Agile environment a plus.
  • Experience working in finance and/or mortgage industry a plus.
