Credit Analyst - Loss Forecast

We have an immediate position available for a Credit Analyst to work with Loss Forecasting Models  and to support our client to develop next generation innovative products, services and solutions.  The role will be in our client’s Capital Markets Risk Management area, which is responsible for measuring and monitoring the risk in the capital markets balance sheet which includes over $300 billion of mortgage securities and loans.  The consultant will join the core production team for the Loss Forecasting Model and its downstream components.

Responsibilities

  • Execute Loss Forecasting Models used in stress testing.
  • Maintain runbook.
  • Review Loss Forecasting Model runs and reports.
  • Analyze and investigate model results, and follow up on anomalies.
  • Perform ad hoc financial analysis on results as need.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years in financial analysis and credit modeling, on the business side, preferably in loss forecasting, and in mortgages
  • Experience working with financial models (running them, analyzing results)
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Strong SAS knowledge
  • Tableau skills preferred
  • Exposure to Dodd Frank stress testing preferred
